For Yama-con 2014, a few of us decided to put together a mix-n-match Hakuouki group! Here's a shot of my fiance and I as Souji Okita and Chizuru Yukimura. I'm such a crazy fangirl for Souji Okita and I'm so glad my fiance cosplayed as him for me!!! We got to take lots of cutesy photos together and I am so pleased with how cosplays look!
I bought myself a Chizuru Yukimura cosplay off eBay for $25 (whoop whoop!) and made the hair piece. I made the Souji Okita cosplay by buying a yellow coat from the thrift store and sprucing it up. The fish on his jacket were hand-painted on and took me a long time but it was worth it in the end! Everything else for his costume were made from fabric I had lying around the house. I had to style his wig on my own since the wig I had originally bought needed TONS of work done to it.
